Sensory & Communication Support

Our Sensory & Communication Support services combine diagnostic services and targeted interventions to help students with sensory and communication needs. We partner closely with school teams and families to deliver individualized support for students with hearing and visual impairments.

Whether using assistive listening technologies, visual aids, or tailored instructional strategies, our goal is to support the whole student from communication to curriculum engagement.

Our Sensory & Communication Support services integrate licensed specialists, assistive technology, and coordinated care to support students with hearing and visual needs. In collaboration with schools, we deliver skilled evaluations, resource support, and strategy coaching to help students access learning environments effectively. This integrated model empowers students to navigate school settings with independence and confidence.

Key components of our supportive approach:

  • Assistive Technology:
Evaluates, recommends, and implements specialized software, equipment, and adaptive devices to support students with mobility, sensory, and learning challenges, enhancing access to the curriculum and promoting independence.

  • American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters:
Facilitate effective communication for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students and families by accurately interpreting spoken English into American Sign Language and conveying signed communication into spoken English.

  • Audiology Services:
Licensed audiologists assess and diagnose hearing loss, providing expert recommendations and support to ensure students have equitable access to classroom instruction and learning opportunities.

  • Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Services:
Deliver specialized academic instruction, communication support, and access to assistive technology, enabling students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing to fully participate in and benefit from their educational programs.
